Welcome and Course Outline

Welcome to Basic Statistical concepts. This is an introductory course intended for junior level college students that contains three lessons. Lesson 1 is a lesson on Measures of Central Tendency. Lesson 2 is a lesson on Measures of Dispersion. Lesson 3 is a lesson on p values, statisitcal and clinical significance. Each lesson is formatted the same way. It will start with introductory material and definitions and explanations of the concepts covered. Then you will get links to videos and other websites to further your understanding of the material. You then will be asked a discussion question that you will need to respond to on a correponding Google Doc. Lastly, you will be asked to copy the assignment section and paste it into a Word document. Then you will answer the questions in the assignment, save the Word file and send it to one of the instructors via email.
